Baby Gallery
What exactly is the Baby Gallery?
The Baby Gallery is an online page on the MotherStories platform, a partner of the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu. It allows parents to digitally announce and share the birth of their child with their loved ones.
What information is displayed on the Baby Gallery?
The child’s first name, date of birth, the parents’ first and last names (or initials), and the place of birth. If you have given your consent, the photo taken by the clinic’s professional photographer will be used; if you have declined, only the initial of your child’s first name will be displayed.
I don’t want my child’s birth announcement to appear online in the Baby Gallery—is that possible?
There is no requirement to make your child’s birthvisible in the BabyGallery. You simply need to check “no” on the registration form. However, please note that it is possible to display only the initials (child/parent(s)) and to decline to include a photo (in which case, only the initial will appear). For any special requests, please email us at: naissances-beaulieu@motherstories.ch
I don't want my child's birth to be listed on the Baby Gallery, but I'd like to use the birth announcement design service. Is that possible?
To access the birth announcement creation service, your child’s birth announcement must be posted online in the Baby Gallery. To ensure discretion and anonymity, you can certainly include as little information as possible (e.g., initials of the first and last names instead of the full first and last names).

I haven't received my login information. What should I do?
We create your baby's profile within 72 hours of receiving your electronic or paper registration form. If you haven't received it by then, check to see if the email is in your spam folder. If you still haven't received it, contact us by email at naissances-beaulieu@motherstories.ch.
Can I fill out the registration form even if my child hasn't been born yet?
No, you must wait until your child is born before filling out and submitting the registration form.
My child was born, but the Baby Gallery and birth announcement creation services weren’t available yet. Can I use them retroactively?
Yes, of course! To do so, simply fill out the registration form here. Once your child’s birth announcement has been created and posted online, you’ll receive an email with your login credentials to access the birth announcement creation service.
Digital Announcement
Is this a free or paid service?
Access to the birth announcement creator is a service offered by Clinique Générale-Beaulieu to all parents whose child was born at home. The only requirement for access is to authorize the clinic and MotherStories to post the birth announcement on their online Baby-Gallery.
How do I access the birth announcement creation service?
Once your child’s birth announcement has been created and posted on the Baby Gallery, you’ll receive an email with your login credentials to access the birth announcement creationservice. If you still haven’t received anything after 72 hours, please check your spam folder and then contact us by email at naissances-beaulieu@motherstories.ch.
What information appears on the birth announcement?
Your child’s first name, date of birth, and details about their time of birth, weight, and height will be automatically displayed. You can then choose whether or not to include them by checking the various options.
Can I customize the invitation with my own text?
Yes, the text field is editable. By default, a "sample" message appears, but you can click on it to edit it as you like (character limit applies).

Can I upload a photo of my choice?
Absolutely. If you choose the photo template and have agreed to have the photo taken by the professional photographer at the clinic displayed on the Baby Gallery, that photo will be added to the birth announcement by default. If you’d prefer to replace it with another one, you can easily upload a different photo (however, to maintain consistency, the photo displayed on the Baby Gallery will not change and will remain the one taken by the clinic’s photographer).

Can I change the background color of the invitation?
Yes. Whether you choose the invitation template with or without a photo, you can choose from 5 background colors: powder pink, aqua green, light gray, midnight blue, or cream.
I didn’t give birth at the Clinique Générale-Beaulieu. Can I still use the birth announcement design service?
Yes, upon request and based on a quote if you’re having the announcements printed. Please contact us by email at info@motherstories.ch.

The clinic will provide you with one photo, which will also be featured in the Baby Gallery if you agree to have your child’s birth listed there. Afterward, if you’d like to order additional photos (at your own expense), you’ll need to arrange this directly with the photographer.
