What Data We Collect

When you fill out the form to download a guide, we collect:
- your email address
- the stage of your journey (wanting a child / pregnant / baby born)
- If you agree: your consent to receive our marketing communications
Newsletters and Marketing Communications
If you check the corresponding box, your email address will be added to our mailing list so you can receive our news updates.

Downloading a guide is never contingent on your agreement to receive marketing communications. These are two separate purposes: you can receive a guide without ever receiving any other communications from us. However, this step in your journey is still recorded along with your request—even if you do not wish to receive any further communications—for the purpose of gaining a general understanding of our audience; it is never used for individualized purposes without your consent.
Who Your Data Is Shared With
Your data remains in-house at MotherStories Sàrl and is processed using our technical tools (website hosting, email delivery tool). These technical service providers use your data solely to perform the services they provide to us, never for their own purposes.
We do not share your data with any business partners or third-party organizations without your explicit consent specifically for that transfer. If such a transfer is proposed to you (for example, connecting you with a partner project), it will be subject to a separate form and consent process, clearly identifying the recipient organization and the purpose of the transfer.
Shelf Life
Your data is retained for as long as necessary to fulfill the purpose for which it was collected, and until you request its deletion (see the “Your Rights” section). If you withdraw your consent to receive marketing communications, your email address will be removed from our mailing list within a reasonable time.
