MotherStories Prenatal Retreats
A weekend to prepare for childbirth and for becoming parents.
Supervised by a midwife · Over the course of a weekend · One hour from Geneva
Pregnancy goes by quickly. Between doctor's appointments, work, and getting ready for the baby, there's often little time left for yourself—or to savor the moment.
We’re offering a turnkey weekend getaway to help you unwind before the baby arrives. Meet other expectant parents who are about to go through the same experience. Take some time for yourself with wellness treatments, exercise, and spa services. Prepare for childbirth—and, most importantly, for what comes next: the postpartum period, your relationship as a couple, and becoming parents.
You have the right to think only of yourself.
Meanwhile, we'll take care of the rest.

Frequently Asked Questions
At what stage of pregnancy should I come in?
Ideally between 20 and 35 weeks of pregnancy. After you make your reservation, you’ll fill out a questionnaire to provide us with all the relevant information about your pregnancy. If you have any questions, you can speak directly with Claire, our midwife, who will be available day and night throughout the retreat.
I don't know anyone there. Can I come by myself?
Yes. That's what the small group and the women's circle are for.
Can my partner come?
Yes, with the Companion package. Meals, the spa, the three workshops, low-impact activities, and group discussion sessions are included for everyone. Prenatal yoga and the closing circle are reserved for expectant mothers. Spa treatments are included for the expectant mother; your companion can book additional treatments directly with the hotel.
What if the retirement doesn't happen?
The event is confirmed 15 days before the date, provided there are at least 4 participants. Otherwise, a full refund will be issued.
What is the cancellation policy?
You can cancel free of charge up to 15 days before the retreat. After that, a refund is still possible upon presentation of a doctor's note.
