🤍 MotherStory of the Month: Postpartum Depression

🤍 MotherStory of the Month: Postpartum Depression When Nora was born, Lia didn’t feel that overwhelming love that’s so often described. Instead, she felt sadness, guilt, and a sense of being trapped. In her MotherStory, Lia, 39, mother to 10-month-old Nora, speaks with great sincerity about the postpartum experience she never imagined. She talks about the care that helped her emerge from the fog, the support from Dani, her partner, and the bond with her daughter that developed little by little. An unfiltered account, serving as a reminder that no mom is alone.👉 Read the full story at motherstories.ch (link in bio) Thank you, Lia @a_lia_silva, for your trust and courage 🤍⚠️ This story addresses suicidal thoughts. This space is especially close to our hearts, and knowing that it made you feel good is the greatest reward of all. None of this would have been possible without everyone who supported us.A huge thank you to Nestlé BEBA (@nestlebebeclub_ch), our main partner, for their trust and for the thoughtful touches they provided for little ones and breastfeeding moms. Thank you also to My Little Room, La Petite Cigogne, Joli Nous, Les Histoires du Potager, Les Petit Pois, and the Corsier Town Hall: each of you helped make this space more welcoming, warm, and full of delicious treats. 🥰Because a village is built together. M E N T A L H E A L T H & M O T H E R H O O D 🤍In honor of World Mental Health Day, we wanted to address a crucial topic related to motherhood: caring for the mental health of expectant and new mothers, starting from the very first moments in the maternity ward. After birth, the first few days with a baby can be filled with emotions, questions, and changes. The attentiveness, availability, and kindness of the team supporting the mother are therefore particularly important. At the Maternité Générale-Beaulieu, the teams are attentive to mothers’ well-being from the moment they arrive and remain available to answer their questions, listen to them, and support them as best as possible during these first moments with their baby. 🌸Because taking care of a mom also means making her feel supported, heard, and cared for. Did you feel supported during the postpartum period? Share your experience with us—we read all your comments 🙏🏼#MotherStories #MentalHealth #Postpartum #BeaulieuMaternity #collab

"To me, it's a soul contract between two people"

“For me, it’s a soul contract between two people; each has the right to close the door, but with love and gratitude.” — Rosaria, 36 On September 28, in observance of the Global Day for the Right to Abortion, we chose to give Rosaria a voice. In her story, she shares her experience with abortion, the decision-making process, the comments she faced, and how she chose to navigate this journey by staying true to herself. Because every abortion story is different. And because it should always be possible to talk about it without judgment, with empathy and kindness. 🤍Thank you, Rosaria @rosaria_faro, for this enlightening and liberating story.👉🏼 Read her story on our blog at motherstories.ch. #motherstories #IVG #abortion #safebabortion #voluntaryterminationofpregnancy #story #motherhood

✨ Rosaria’s MotherStory: Abortion, a Story of Giving

✨ Rosaria’s MotherStory: Abortion, a Story We Still Don’t Talk About Enough Today, September 28, on the occasion of the Global Day for the Right to Abortion, we’re sharing Rosaria’s story. At 36, she is the mother of two daughters and two angel babies. Last December, she had an abortion. In this MotherStory, she recounts an unexpected pregnancy, the decision-making process that began within her own body, and a medical journey marked by words that deeply hurt her. She then describes how she chose to navigate this experience in her own way: gently, with her loved ones, through a ritual, and above all, by staying true to her deepest feelings. An intimate account of abortion, motherhood, choice, and everything that can surround such an experience. Because experiencing an abortion can involve a range of emotions. Because you may need to talk about it. And because every story deserves to be heard without judgment. 🤍Thank you, Rosaria @rosaria_faro, for this illuminating and liberating story.👉🏼 Read it on the blog: motherstories.ch.#motherstories #abortion #safeabortion #voluntaryterminationofpregnancy #personalstory #motherhood #perinatalgrief

A Look Back at an Exceptional Evening ✨ September 3

A Look Back at an Exceptional Evening ✨On September 3, we opened the doors to the world of Soleia Retreats for an evening event designed for expectant mothers. There were conversations, questions, smiles, and above all, the certainty that this project meets a real need: the need to take care of oneself even before (re-)becoming a mother.Thank you to everyone who came to share this moment with us, and to Claire for so wholeheartedly embodying this commitment to caring for women during this stage of life alongside us from the very beginning. Thank you also to @lapetitecigogne.ch for treating us to such delicious food! Because an evening like this is, in itself, a way to slow down and reconnect with yourself. The next dates for Soleia @soleia.retreats are coming soon—stay tuned; we’ll keep you in the loop first 🤍#MotherStories #SoleiaRetreats #pregnancy #prenatalretreat #ibiza❤️
