“I contacted Aurélie in mid-December, about five weeks before my due date. Torn between anxiety about giving birth and the changes that were coming in January 2020, Aurélie was very responsive and attentive to my wishes. She advised me to create a birth plan to help me visualize this incredible event that was about to happen. Since I had gone past my due date and she wanted everything to go as smoothly as possible for me, Aurélie conducted two reflexology sessions to physically prepare my body for this adventure (five days apart). On the day labor was scheduled to be induced, my body responded very well following that second session. Not only did contractions begin an hour after the medical team inserted a tampon, but less than 10 hours later, my water broke spontaneously, and my son was in my arms two hours later via vaginal delivery without any complications. Every birth is a unique experience, and I hope all women can go through it with as relaxed and open a mindset as possible.
