"I went to see Dr. Burger when my son, then aged 2, was suffering from a succession of ear infections. Our regular pediatrician wasn't offering anything except repeated antibiotics. Dr. Burger, who was originally trained as a pediatrician, began by examining my son like a "normal" pediatrician, but with more care and detail than our standard pediatrician. Then she suggested an herbal treatment to boost his overall immunity and suppositories with essential oils in case of new ear infections. Suppositories which, I must say, are really effective on my son, and which we've been using ever since he's had an ENT illness, helping to keep it from getting out of hand. She looked at the problem as a whole, also questioning his diet and recommending solutions in that area too.
