"I went to see Dr. Burger when my son, then aged 2, was suffering from a succession of ear infections. Our regular pediatrician wasn't offering anything except repeated antibiotics. Dr. Burger, who was originally trained as a pediatrician, began by examining my son like a "normal" pediatrician, but with more care and detail than our standard pediatrician. Then she suggested an herbal treatment to boost his overall immunity and suppositories with essential oils in case of new ear infections.
