A perfect recipe for pregnant women this summer!
Delicious, simple, quick and healthy!
Ingredients (serves 2) :
- 1 can tuna (140g net)
- 100g rice (basmati, semi-complete, organic)
- 1 jar organic sweet corn kernels (340g net)
- 1 organic avocado
- 2 organic eggs
- Seeds/nuts
- Olive oil/vinaigrette
Recipe:
- Rinse and soak the rice for 3-4 hours, then re-rinse 1-2 times and cook.
- Cook the eggs for 10 minutes in boiling water to obtain hard-boiled eggs.
- Drain the tuna and corn and place in a salad bowl.
- Dice the avocado and add to the salad bowl.
- Once the rice is cooked, leave to cool and add to the salad.
- Once the eggs are cooked, peel and halve them, then place them in the bowl.
- Season and add seeds and nuts.
Enjoy your meal!
A little extra : numerous studies have shown that rice contains arsenic (present in the soil in which it grows). Rinsing and soaking rice for a few hours can reduce arsenic levels in rice by up to 80%!
